General Description of Polyurethane
Prism Powder Coatings U-Series Polyurethane powders are designed for a range of both decorative and functional use on products for exterior exposure. The polyurethane powders have good chemical and mechanical properties. They can be manufactured in a wide range of colors, textures and glosses.
U-Series Polyurethane powders perform well over cold rolled steel, hot rolled steel and aluminum substrates suitably pretreated.
It is possible to achieve film builds of 1 - 1.5 mils, but 2 - 3 mils is the norm. Polyurethane powders are known for their smooth appearance.
