General Description of Hybrid
Prism Powder Coatings H-Series Hybrid powders are a combination of Epoxy and Polyester resins designed for a range of both decorative and functional use. The hybrid powders have excellent chemical and mechanical properties combined with outstanding overbake resistance. They can be manufactured in a wide range of colours and glosses and textures.
H-Series Hybrid powders perform well over cold rolled steel, castings, hot rolled steel and aluminum substrates suitably pretreated. They may be applied by corona or tribo charged electrostatic powder guns.
It is possible to achieve film builds of 1 - 1.5 mils, but 2 - 3 mils is the norm.
As always, we recommend you consult your Prism Powder Coatings representative and perform your own physical testing to determine the suitability of a product for your requirements. See health, safety and storage guide for further information.
